Over 300 people came!
My dreams... and the horses dreams... come true!
We just celebrated our 5th anniversary with Old Friends today. Cabin Creek means so much to me. I always wanted to be around horses since I was a little girl, and then I wanted a horse farm for all of my horses. I was planning the barn, I could smell it. Then life got busy with great things, my husband and our sons, our business and all that goes with it. Quiet moments, which were rare, were when I thought about the Dream Farm, thoroughbreds; I needed to be with them again.
Anyway….Long story short….My husband and I built the farm and we have 14 retired thoroughbreds living their lives here. They are all loved and cared for by me and my friends. Given to us to cherish, by Old Friends and Michael Blowen. Open to the public for all to see and be a part of. These horses mean the world to me. They have enriched the lives of my family. They have brought the most wonderful people into my life. They have taught me so much!!! I have earned the trust of Thunder Rumble, which is like winning the grandest prize.
Today, 300 folks came over because horses mean something to them. Unspoken, yet so palpable. I loved it. It is my dreams come true. I also like to think this place is the horses dreams come true.
Thank you all for being here and being part of the family.
