Roaring Lion is a handsome MD bred gelding owned by Michael Repole in his racing days. He was running in a winning stakes races as recently as 2011. On July 5th of 2010, Leo won the Mr. Prospector at Monmouth. Leo won the Maryland Juvenile Championship in 2006, the Maryland Million Sprint in 2009, and Teddy Drone Stakes in 2010. Not only did he win the Mr. Prospector in 2010, he won it 2011 on the 4th of July. After, he tried the Teddy Drone again, but was denied and came in 4th. That was his last race. Leo came in the money 22 times out or 32 starts (12-4-6). He earned $542,536. He was trained by Todd Pletcher. He arrived at Cabin Creek in Sept. of 2011.
